Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and prototyping low-power, battery-operated embedded systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for PCB design, firmware development (RTOS-based), and integrating LTE modules, GNSS receivers, and displays into wearable or compact IoT devices. A strong ability to research, troubleshoot, and manage power systems is essential. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom PCBs using LTE/GNSS modules (e.g., Telit, Quectel). Write and maintain embedded firmware on STM32 or similar MCUs using FreeRTOS or other RTOS. Integrate and control displays (OLED, LCD, etc.) via SPI/I2C with custom GUI or LVGL. Implement and optimize power management strategies for battery-powered devices. Collaborate with mechanical designers to ensure enclosure-PCB fit. Conduct online research to evaluate components, reference designs, and solve integration challenges. Support bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototype boards. Create and manage technical documentation (schematics, BOM, firmware notes). 🧰 Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle). Solid understanding of embedded C/C++, STM32 HAL/LL drivers, and RTOS environments. Experience working with cellular modules (LTE, NB-IoT, Cat-M1) and GNSS receivers. Familiarity with power supply design, battery charging circuits, and low-power MCU techniques. Experience with SPI/I2C display modules and libraries like LVGL or custom drivers. Ability to research datasheets, reference designs, and hardware/firmware issues online. Familiarity with lab tools: multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field. ➕ Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience with wearable device design or ultra-compact PCBs. Knowledge of wireless certification requirements (e.g., CE, FCC). Exposure to Python or scripting for test automation. Understanding of OTA firmware updates and secure boot.
