Job Description

Electrician Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and repair electrical control, LT and ST wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Good Knowledge of AC/DC Electrical motors and Generators.
Must have good Knowledge of Energy efficiency and Energy conservation (i.e., How to reduce the costing of electricity bills.)
Must have good knowledge of Welders.
Have an exposure of PLC.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Industrial Electrician Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
In some cases, candidates must have an Associates Degree in a related field.
Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
