Job Description

A. Hospital Electrical Cabling & WiringKnowledge of LT power cabling (FRLS / FRHF cables) as per hospital standards Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLD) Experience in: Conduit wiring (PVC / GI / EMT), Trunking, cable trays, and raceways, Proper cable tagging, dressing, and segregation (power, UPS, ELV) Understanding of color coding, earthing continuity, and labeling B.Electrical Installation Skills Installation and termination of: Distribution Boards (MDB, SDB, DB), MCB, MCCB, RCCB, Isolators and changeover switches Installation of: Lighting systems (normal, emergency, OT lights support), Power sockets (normal, UPS, isolated power), Medical-grade power outlets UPS and emergency power systems C. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Preventive and breakdown maintenance of: Panels and DBs, Lighting circuits, Power sockets and switches Fault identification and rectification: Short circuits, Earth leakage, Voltage fluctuations Basic testing using: Multimeter, Insulation Resistance Tester (Megger) Understanding of preventive maintenance schedules (PM)
