Job Description

Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment, including power distribution panels, lighting systems, kitchen appliances, pumps, motors, and guest room electrical fixtures.
Troubleshooting & Emergency Response:
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly and accurately. Respond immediately to electrical emergencies (e.g., power outages, circuit failures) with minimum disruption to guests and operations.
Installation & Projects:
Install new wiring, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures in compliance with local safety codes and established project plans.
Guest Room Calls:
Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests for electrical issues (e.g., non-functioning lights, charging ports) and resolve them efficiently while adhering to guest privacy protocols.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all electrical work strictly adheres to national and local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
Energy Management:
Assist the Chief Engineer in monitoring and managing the hotel's electrical consumption, identifying areas for energy conservation, and maintaining the emergency generator systems.
Inter-Departmental Coordination:
Communicate effectively with the Front Office and Housekeeping regarding room status updates and maintenance schedules that may impact guests.
