Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in our refinery. You’ll work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintenance & Repairs:

- Install, inspect, and service electrical circuits, motors, controls, and instrumentation.

- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, VFDs, etc.).

- Diagnose and resolve faults in lighting, HVAC, pumps, valves, and heavy machinery.

- Safety & Compliance:

- Adherer to safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tagout, confined spaces).

- Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety audits.

- Emergency Response:

- Respond to electrical breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption.

- Collaborate with operations to restore systems swiftly.

- Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of work, including permits, test results, and equipment history.

- Teamwork:

- Work with mechanical, instrumentation, and operations teams.

- Train/mentor apprentices or junior staff.

- Continuous Improvement:

- Suggest process optimizations to boost efficiency and safety.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

- Certification: Valid electrical license (B/E category as per Indian regulations).

- Experience: 3–5 years in a refinery, manufacturing, or heavy industry.

- Skills:

- Proficient in electrical systems (AC/DC, low/medium voltage).

- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with tools (multimeters, thermal imagers, etc.).

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management.

- Physical: Ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and harsh environments.

Preferred

- Certification in oil/gas safety (OHSAS, H2S).

- Experience with refinery-specific equipment (e.g., ESD systems).

- Basic computer skills (MS Office, maintenance software).

Working Conditions

- Shift Work: Rotating shifts (day/night, weekends, holidays).

- Environment: Industrial setting with exposure to noise, heat, chemicals, and confined spaces.

- PPE: Mandatory use of safety gear (helmets, gloves, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
