Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician Mate/Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical systems, particularly in industrial settings, and will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
Support licensed electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all electrical work.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment.
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuits, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in electrical work.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
Proficient in using hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
