Description

We are seeking an experienced STP Operator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our sewage treatment plant, ensuring that all processes are running efficiently and in compliance with environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the sewage treatment plant (STP) to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and compliance reports as required.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for STP operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with maintenance teams for the timely repair and servicing of STP equipment.
Train and guide junior staff on operational procedures and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in sewage treatment plant operations or a related field.
Strong understanding of STP processes and wastewater treatment technologies.
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems in STPs.
Familiarity with local environmental regulations and standards for wastewater management.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Certification in water/wastewater treatment operations is preferred.
