Electrical Technician (Maintenance)

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, such as smart boards, security cameras, or emergency lighting. Your role involves ensuring compliance and safety by inspecting and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in classrooms, offices, and other school facilities. Your key responsibilities include: - Inspecting and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in classrooms, offices, and other school facilities to ensure compliance and safety standards are met. - Performing routine maintenance to prevent electrical issues in the school premises. - Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults in lighting, HVAC systems, power outlets, and other systems. - Responding promptly to electrical emergencies, such as power outages. - Ensuring all electrical systems comply with safety and building regulations. - Implementing safety protocols to safeguard staff, students, and visitors. - Suggesting energy-saving measures, such as LED lighting upgrades or smart controls. - Conducting energy audits and proposing improvements for energy efficiency. - Collaborating with school administrators and facility managers to plan upgrades or renovations. - Coordinating with external contractors as needed for project execution. Qualifications required for this role include: - Preferably 2 years of relevant work experience.
