Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with expertise in power electronics to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems. The role involves working closely with engineers and researchers to ensure reliable operation and development of power electronic circuits, converters, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, wire, and test power electronic circuits, modules, and prototypes.
• Support installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems used in power conversion, drives, and energy applications.
• Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on components such as inverters, rectifiers, converters, and control systems.
• Assist engineers in setting up laboratory experiments, measurement systems, and test benches.
• Operate test instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers) to monitor system performance.
• Document test procedures, results, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices when handling electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers in continuous improvement of power electronics systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic assembly, wiring, and testing.
• Knowledge of power electronics components such as IGBTs, MOSFETs, rectifiers, and converters.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of electrical safety standards and safe working practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in power systems, renewable energy, or motor drives.
• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, or embedded hardware.
• Basic understanding of simulation or CAD tools (e.g., MATLAB, PSpice, Altium).
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and support R&D projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
