Electrical Supervisor

As an Electrical InCharge in the Machine Shop within the Drilling Industry based in Kakinada, India, you will play a crucial role in leading electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure the uptime, safety, and optimal performance of various equipment such as motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe machines, and welding/drilling support systems. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the daily electrical maintenance tasks and conduct rapid fault diagnosis for the machine shop equipment. - Manage, program, and troubleshoot VFDs, motors, PLCs, and CNC/lathe-related electrical systems effectively. - Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, maintain spares inventory, and oversee repair activities to minimize downtime. - Provide support for welding and drilling equipment electrical issues, and assist production teams during breakdowns. - Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site PPE rules. - Offer training and mentorship to junior electricians and contractors while maintaining clear maintenance records and reports. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings. - Demonstrated expertise working with motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe systems, welding, and drilling support equipment. - Strong troubleshooting skills covering control circuits, power distribution, and PLC/VFD interfaces. - Sound knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and adherence to safety compliance standards. - Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to perform effectively under production pressures. - Immediate availability and willingness to relocate to Kakinada.
