Job Title:

Job Summary:

Electrical QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for all electrical works as per project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
Conduct inspections on electrical materials and installations such as cable trays, conduits, wiring, panels, earthing, lighting, etc.
Coordinate with site execution teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Interface with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for approvals and audits.
Maintain documentation of inspections, test records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of electrical QA/QC processes.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
Familiarity with installation practices for HT/LT systems, panels, DBs, lighting, and earthing.
Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC reporting tools.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in MEP contracting firms is a plus.
Exposure to ISO quality systems and procedures.
