Job Overview: The Estimation Engineer is responsible for evaluating project requirements, analyzing technical drawings/specifications, and preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for electrical control panels. The role supports the sales and project teams by determining material, labor, and time requirements for project execution.. Key Responsibilities: Review tender documents, client specifications, SLDs, BOQs, and technical drawings related to control panels (MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC, etc.) Identify project scope, quantities, and pricing for all required components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, HMIs, wiring, and enclosures. Prepare detailed techno-commercial quotations, cost breakdowns, and comparison sheets. Coordinate with procurement and vendors to obtain updated material prices. Evaluate labor hours, panel assembly times, and testing efforts. Attend technical discussions and clarifications with clients or consultants. Support the sales and design teams in customizing offers and finalizing orders. Maintain updated records of cost databases, pricing trends, and estimation tools Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge of industrial control panels and electrical systems. Familiar with standards such as IEC, NEC, or local electrical codes. Proficient in AutoCAD (for reviewing electrical drawings). Knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience in panel design, manufacturing, or site installation is an advantage. Familiarity with components from OEMs like Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Allen Bradley, etc. Prior work with automation panels or PLC/SCADA projects preferred.
