Electrical Panel Designer

As an Electrical Panel Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing LT panels, control panels, and distribution boards while ensuring compliance with customer specifications, relevant standards, and best engineering practices. - Understand client requirements and technical specifications for electrical panels. - Design and develop electrical panel layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, and wiring schematics using AutoCAD. - Select appropriate components based on project specifications and application. - Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination while ensuring compliance with safety norms. - Prepare detailed BOM and assist in sourcing materials. - Coordinate with production team for design clarification and issue resolution during panel assembly. - Support FAT and provide documentation including test reports, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals. - Revise designs based on feedback and stay updated with the latest trends in electrical components and panel design. - Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in electrical panel design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical. - Knowledge of electrical standards like IEC, IS, IEEE, UL, etc. - Familiarity with PLC/automation panel design. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
