Electrical Manager (Wind Energy Projects)

As a Manager Electrical Engineering for Wind Energy Projects, your role involves leading the design and development of electrical systems for wind energy projects. You will be responsible for managing electrical engineering deliverables, timelines, and team coordination across projects. Your key responsibilities include: - Reviewing and optimizing electrical layouts for wind farms and substations. - Conducting and overseeing power flow studies, load flow analysis, and fault simulations. - Ensuring all designs comply with industry codes, safety standards, and project requirements. - Coordinating with project managers, clients, and cross-functional engineering teams. - Guiding commissioning activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and providing technical leadership during project execution. - Supporting budgeting, resource planning, and technical documentation review. - Staying updated with emerging wind energy technologies and driving innovation within the team. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred). - 10-13 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in wind energy projects. - Expertise in USS electrical layouts, earthing systems, wind turbine electricals, and interfacing power curves. - Strong knowledge of electrical loss calculations, power system design, and grid integration. - Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NEC, and other relevant industry standards.,
