Electrical Lead / Project Directors

Qualifications-

• BE/B.Tech -Electrical/ Electrical Engg with minimum 10 to 12 years of experience at multiple solar projects have commissioned at least 2 to 3 project of minimum capacity of 50n to 100 MW.
• Diplamo -Electrical/ Electrical Engg with minimum 12 to 15 years of experience at multiple solar projects have successfully commissioned at least 2 to 3 project of minimum capacity of 50 to 100 MW Projects ( Minimum 5 Yrs in Solar Field)
• Full understanding of Technical Know how of solar Projects, Project drawings, Layout, Electrical Safety, Execution, Technical Know how of all equipmnents pre-Commissioning & Testing requirements & Good Exposures to ensure that construction is executed as per approved design and Engg drawing for all stages projects.
• Knowledge of Solar systems, PV panels, Inverter system, DC cabling, substation, Scada systems etc
• Handled and Managing team of 10 to 15 engineers at site
• Handled multiple Civil execution agencies at site with best vendor management skills sets

Roles & Responsibility

• To understand the project drawings for AC and DC works , ICR ,AC/DC Trench work, All electrical equipment installation , cable laying termination, switchyard electrical works , cable scheduling as per design and site requirements construction work from inception to commissioning as per approved design and drawing for all phases of engineering construction relating to Electrical works.
• Plan and co-ordinate all aspects of the project construction process with the contractor.
• Perform all daily inspection and tests under the scope to accomplish the quality of construction indicated in the drawings/specifications for all works performed by the contractor.
• Conducting weekly review meeting with Contractor and site in charge at site to assess the construction progress as per schedule and to understand the bottlenecks of various activities.
• Carry out inspection and checking for all quality measures and ensures the work methodology adopted at the site is as per approved Field quality (FQP) and method statement.
• Timely submission of weekly progress report (WPR), Non-conformity report (NCR), and site observation report (SOR) to site incharge/head office.
• Produce project schedules and updates suited to accomplish contract requirements to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support construction activities.
• Suggest contractor for work sequence to be followed as per site conditions and additional resources requirement if any for improving the progress pace.
• Provide the reliable and comprehensive project reports to the project team advising critical activities, schedule updates, and related project needs.
• Daily monitoring of construction progress and DPR considering quality concerns, and ensuring jobsite safety considerations are addressed.
• Maintaining the proper record of quality documents for every activity such as cube test results calibration certificates, Field quality plan, (FQP) and checklists submitted by Contractor for acceptance of work.
• Preparation of RFI/acceptance report, project quality reports and punch list with appropriate mitigation techniques so as to get the compliance report from Contractor for smooth handover of the project.
• Certifying the contractor bill .
• Coordinate with the consultant s representative and site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality lapses including the closure of NCRs.
• Ensure contractor performance to comply with contract requirements and issuing the periodic alerts to Site incharge so as to ensure the construction quality of the project.
• Providing technical guidance to contractors whenever required for re-solving various complications of site with the close interaction with office team.
• To ensure the proper co-ordination with office team for submission of project deliverable on time.
