Electrical Incharge

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Incharge to oversee and manage electrical operations related to Rural Electrification (RE) Projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-voltage distribution systems, specifically up to 33KV, and demonstrate strong leadership and project management abilities. You will be responsible for supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and ensuring that electrical projects are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Rural Electrification Project Management:

o Lead and manage electrical projects for rural electrification, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

o Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in rural regions.

33KV Distribution Systems:

o Supervise and manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems up to 33KV.

o Ensure work is executed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

o Supervise, train, and provide direction to electrical technicians and workers in the field.

o Ensure proper task delegation and performance monitoring to meet project goals.

Project Execution & Coordination:

o Plan, organize, and coordinate all electrical activities for rural electrification projects.

o Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.

 Compliance & Safety:

o Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, local regulations, and industry codes.

o Perform regular safety audits and ensure all electrical activities follow safety protocols. 

 Vendor and Contractor Management:

o Liaise with external vendors and contractors to source materials and services for electrical works.

o Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and project timelines.

 Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain comprehensive records of electrical work, inspections, and repairs.

o Provide progress reports and technical documentation to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

 Education:

o Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech in EEE) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (D.EEE).

 Experience:

o Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Rural Electrification (RE) projects.

o Proven experience in managing 33KV distribution systems.

 Skills & Competencies:

o Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.

o In-depth knowledge of Rural Electrification (RE) works and 33KV distribution systems.

o Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.

 License & Vehicle:

o Must possess a valid driving license (DL).

o Candidate must own a vehicle for fieldwork and travel to various project locations.
