Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform

  preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

  for all plant electrical systems, machinery, and utilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot

  LT/HT panels, MCCs, SLDs, relays, PLC systems, and control wiring

  .
• Manage and service

  industrial motors (single-phase and 3-phase)

  , including STAR/DELTA starters and VFDs.
• Ensure smooth operation of

  production machines

  including hydraulic presses, CNC machines, induction heating units, etc.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and utilities teams for timely resolution of equipment issues.
• Monitor the performance of critical utilities like

  DG sets (250500 KVA), air compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems

  .
• Supervise contractors and service vendors during maintenance and installations.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, logs, and safety records.
• Support electrical audits and ensure adherence to ISO, IATF 16949, or other regulatory norms.
• Identify and implement opportunities for

  energy saving

  ,

  equipment upgrades

  , and

  process improvements

  .
• Ensure strict compliance with

  electrical safety standards and PPE usage

  on shopfloor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  industrial electrical systems, automation, and safety protocols

• Hands-on experience with

  PLC & HMI systems

  (Mitsubishi, Delta, Schneider preferred)
• Working knowledge of

  Servo Drives

  ,

  VFDs

  , and

  sensors

  (NPN/PNP)
• Ability to read and interpret

  electrical schematics, SLDs, and machine manuals

• Sound understanding of

  TPM, Kaizen, and Lean maintenance principles

• Analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities
• Willing to work in

  shifts

  and handle

  on-call responsibilities

  when needed

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in

  Tier-1 or Tier-2 auto component manufacturing companies

• Exposure to IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 environments
• Experience handling

  robotic cells

  or

  automated production lines

  will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with

  energy management systems

  and

  electrical safety audits
