Who are we looking for Roles Responsibilities
- Work on obsolescence activities with higher complexity to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with the documentation.
- End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
- Design electrical systems to the specifications of our clients, keeping safety and compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations at the forefront of your mind.
- Review designs to ensure they will be safe, fit the clients needs, and remain in compliance.
- Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.
- Identify project risks and perform FMEA or provide mitigation strategy to eliminate risk
- Plan each phase of the engineering while coordinating with other team to ensure each deadline is met.
- Review documentation of the team and provide guidance
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a bachelor s degree in Electrical/Electronics with experience of 6-10 years.
- Masters degree is preferred with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
- Must have a good understanding of the electrical electronics components and must be able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
- Understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
- Hands-on experience in testing electronics components- bench-level test and system-level test.
- Must be up to date on all electrical codes and laws, and regulations to ensure compliance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Critical/ system level thinking.
- Good project management skillset and multi-tasking capability
- Must be an excellent planner with strong time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exposure of working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
- Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence
- Understand concepts of Reliability system engineering
- Understanding on PCB and components
- Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
