Electrical Engineer EV Charging

As an Electrical Engineer responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of EV Charging Station infrastructure in the Oil & Gas industry, your role will entail various key responsibilities and duties. With a minimum qualification of B. Tech (EEE) and a minimum of 5 years of experience, the location for this position is in Hyderabad. Your primary responsibilities will include: Planning and Permissions: - Assessing space and power requirements for the desired EV charging setup. - Coordinating with nodal agencies and authorities to obtain necessary permissions and approvals. - Obtaining required permissions from the building management. Location Checks: - Verifying that the location is suitable for the installation of EV charging stations. - Ensuring that the location is safe from hazards like flooding and fire. - Meeting the location-related requirements specified by the CPO. Civil Infrastructure: - Monitoring the development of necessary civil infrastructure such as roofing and foundations. - Ensuring that the civil structures meet the requirements of the OEMs to support the charging stations. Electrical Wiring: - Creating an appropriate Single Line Diagram (SLD) by a licensed electrician. - Ensuring that the wiring diagram complies with the requirements of the charging station OEMs. - Obtaining electrical wiring approval from the building management and DISCOM. - Supervising the execution of electrical work as per the specified requirements. Installation and Commissioning: - Ensuring the receipt of the correct equipment. - Installing the charging stations according to the OEMs and CPOs requirements. - Testing for correct electrical wiring. - Connecting the charging stations to the CMS platform and verifying full operational functionality. Maintenance: - Inspecting each charging station as per the scheduled maintenance report. - Conducting checks on electrical wiring and earthing as defined. Language Preferences: This position requires proficiency in English, Telugu, and Hindi to effectively communicate and perform duties.
