Electrical Engineer _Maintenance

-Role & responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, E-plans, and schematics; ensure updates and modifications are properly documented.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems (including LAN, sensors, and network devices); program, upload/download software, and manage electrical controls.
• Handle electrical installations: conduit wiring, disconnects, switches, breakers, transformers, panels, and motor systems (480V 3-phase, 220V, and 24VDC).
• Predictive and preventive maintenance for electrical and electro-pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose motor conditions and replace gear motors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain vision inspection systems and robotic cells (MIG and Spot welding).
• Perform electrical circuit and ethernet communication troubleshooting.
• Reduce breakdown time through root cause analysis and horizontal deployment of best practices.
• Ensure proper lighting across the facility, including fixture and ballast maintenance.
• Operate computerized/manual Maintenance Information Systems to record maintenance activities.
• Maintain cabinets, panels, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Participate actively in meetings, provide solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety compliance guidelines.
• Support other departmental needs as required.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Education:

-B.E./B.Tech in Electrical with 5-6 years of relevant experience OR

-Diploma in Electrical with 6-8 years of experience.

• Experience:

  -Automotive manufacturing experience is mandatory.-Exposure to robotic systems (preferably MIG and Spot welding).-Strong knowledge of TPM, tag closures, and plant-level troubleshooting.
