Job Description

Electrical & Electronics Vehicle Integration Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Electrical System Design
: Design the electrical system and its electrical/electronic components.
Layout and Packaging
: Handle the layout and packaging of parts within the vehicle
DMU
(Digital Mock-Up), considering all aspects of functionality, manufacturability, and serviceability.
System Diagram Definition
: Define the electrical system diagram for given projects, ensuring all regulatory and
Homologation
requirements are met.
Input Provision
: Provide necessary inputs to horizontal teams for the design of electrical parts as per the product brief.
Cross-functional Interaction
: Interact with manufacturing plants to handle production issues, engage with service teams for field-related concerns, and coordinate internally within R&D.
Testing & Reporting
: Coordinate testing activities and assist in preparation for senior-level meetings.

Skills Required:

Strong experience in designing electrical systems for vehicles.
Proficiency in electrical/electronic systems layout and packaging within a
DMU
environment.
Ability to define electrical system diagrams considering regulatory and
Homologation
requirements.
Excellent coordination and communication skills for interacting with manufacturing plants, service teams, and R&D colleagues.
Familiarity with testing activities and preparing for senior management discussions.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
