Who are we

Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled "

Electrical/Electronics Engineer

" with a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components. The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Who are we looking for Roles Responsibilities

Work on obsolescence activities with to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with the documentation

End-to-end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions

Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts

Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have a bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics with experience of 3-5 years.

Masters degree is preferred with 1 year of experience.

Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.

Must have a good understanding of the electronics components and must be able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.

Understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Critical/system-level thinking.

Good project management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system

Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence

Understanding on PCB and components

Hands-on experience of testing electronics components- bench-level test and system-level test

Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
