Are you an expert in translating complex electrical designs into precise technical drawings? We’re looking for a skilled Electrical AutoCAD Drafter to power our projects!

We are a dynamic and growing engineering firm seeking a meticulous professional to play a vital role in our design process. You will work closely with our engineering team to create accurate blueprints and schematics for innovative electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical diagrams using AutoCAD, including single-line diagrams, power layouts, lighting plans, and wiring schematics.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent and project specifications are accurately captured.
• Ensure strict compliance with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and industry standards.
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain organized project documentation ("redlines" and "as-builts").
• Contribute to material takeoff calculations and project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency: Proven expertise in Autodesk AutoCAD software is essential. Familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in an electrical drafting or design role.
• Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of electrical principles, circuitry, and code requirements.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and a commitment to error-free work.
• Education: An Associate’s degree or certificate in drafting, design, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification: Eplan or Autodesk Certified Professional certification is a plus.
