Role & responsibilities

• Creating technical drawings:

  AutoCAD Draftsmen produce detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints for various projects, including buildings, machinery, and other components.

• Collaborating with professionals:

  They work with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure design accuracy.

• Translating designs:

  They transform conceptual designs and sketches into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD.

• Preparing construction documents:

  AutoCAD Draftsmen create construction documents, including specifications, quantities, and drawings, for various projects.

• Revising drawings:

  They update and revise drawings based on feedback, changes in design, or updated specifications.

• Ensuring accuracy and standards:

  They ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.

• Maintaining databases:

  They organize and maintain a database of drawings and design documents.

• May include other duties:

  Depending on the role, AutoCAD Draftsmen may also be involved in project planning, site surveys, and material procurement.
