Job Description

Job Summary

Electrical Designer

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and update Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and other electrical drawings.
Develop cable tray routing, electrical 3D models, and equipment layouts.
Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
Utilize AutoCAD Electrical and CADWorx Electrical to generate accurate 2D and 3D designs.
Perform electrical drafting, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical design with mechanical and structural layouts.
Manage and maintain design files using Autodesk Vault, Windchill, or SAP.
Support engineering teams in preparing BOMs, reports, and design documentation.
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

SolidWorks (Electrical or Mechanical exposure)

Windchill / SAP

Strong understanding of:

Electrical drafting practices
Cable tray routing
3D electrical modelling
