Electrical Designer

The Electrical Designer plays a crucial role in providing solutions to problems within the Electrical Design discipline independently. Evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures is a key aspect of the role. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Preparation of key project deliverables, including but not limited to: - Block Diagrams - Area Classification Drawings - One-line diagrams - Typical Installation Drawings - Motor control schematics - Panel Schedules - MCT Schedules - Lighting Layout Drawings - Cable tray drawings - Earthing layouts - Building Layouts - MCT Layouts - Tray support location Plans - Cable tray sizing calculations - Conduit & cable schedules - AG/UG power drawings - Interconnection & Wiring drawings - Preparation of bills of material and performing MTO of electrical items - Working in a 3D modeling tool for modeling various electrical components and extracting necessary information - Supporting Project Development and Coordination by maintaining a focus on end-product, coordinating with project leads, and effectively communicating with design and engineering teams - Recognizing and managing changes with full awareness of project impact and ensuring timely updates to lead designers Essential Qualifications and Education: - Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Proficiency in AutoCAD/Microstation/Smartsketch, SP3D/E3D/PDMS is essential - Experience with Dialux/Chalmlite for lighting calculation and Roxtec Tool for MCT sizing is preferred - Minimum of 3 years of detailed electrical design experience - Familiarity with standards, codes, and guidelines such as NEC, & NFPA - Technical knowledge of the electrical detailed design/drafting process - Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel and Word This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Designer to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the energy sector and be part of a global team driving the energy transition. #LI-SK1,
