Electrical Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer to ensure the timely delivery of design calculations and drawings. Your role will involve managing key aspects of the electrical design for various projects. You will be expected to collaborate effectively within the design team, demonstrating strong teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities: - Manage critical elements of the electrical design across projects. - Be accountable to the Project Manager and the Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer for the organization, production, and quality of work. - Serve as the Electrical Lead/Sub-lead as per project requirements. - Coordinate design activities with different teams and maintain project documentation. - Ensure adherence to relevant standards and procedures. - Prepare for and actively participate in design reviews. - Design Low Voltage Switchboards, LV sub-mains cabling, distribution, and Containment. - Develop Power distribution solutions for mechanical and public health equipment. - Create designs for Earthing and bonding installations, Lightning protection, Lighting, Lighting control, and Emergency lighting. - Perform Electrical preliminary calculations, Riser Diagrams, Single line Diagrams, Load Calculations, and Panel schedule design. - Conduct Wire sizing & Voltage Drop Calculations, Electrical Enlarged Room Plans/Sections. - Possess excellent Electrical knowledge and proficiency in AutoCad and Revit. - Experience working on US projects is preferred. - Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University. Your role as a Design Engineer will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of electrical design tasks within the designated projects.
