Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, your role will involve creating designs for electrical systems based on engineering specifications and industry standards. This includes using computer software applications such as AutoCAD. You will be responsible for conducting surveys of existing facilities to identify electrical problems and drafting preliminary drawings of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams and floor plans. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with architects and other designers to ensure that designs comply with all relevant electrical codes and regulations - Recommend materials and equipment based on cost, quality, and availability - Perform calculations and analyses to determine the most effective design for electrical systems - Consult with various stakeholders to ensure the feasibility of designs - Create detailed designs of electrical systems, including lighting, transformers, switches, motors, fuses, breakers, and wiring - Prepare pricing estimates for materials and services required for specific projects - Quote tenders Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Preferred) - Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (Preferred) - Availability for day shifts and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position suitable for fresher candidates.
