Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description Electrical Design Engineer We are seeking a skilled Electrical 3D Schematic Engineer to design and develop electrical schematics using 3D CAD tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical system design, schematic layout, and integration of electrical components in industrial and manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop 3D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial automation and manufacturing systems. Utilize software like EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or Zuken E3 to create detailed schematics. ¢ Work closely with mechanical, control, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components. ¢ Select appropriate cables, connectors, relays, sensors, and circuit protection devices. ¢ Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, UL, and other electrical design standards. ¢ Optimize panel layouts, wiring harnesses, and electrical enclosures for efficiency and manufacturability. ¢ Conduct design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams for system validation. ¢ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical designs for improved performance and reliability. ¢ Document design specifications, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical drawings for production and support teams. Required Qualifications: ¢ Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. ¢ Knowledge of electrical circuit design, wiring standards, and component selection. ¢ Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations. ¢ Ability to troubleshoot electrical designs and suggest improvements. ¢ Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams. Preferred Skills: ¢ Hands-on experience in panel wiring and layout optimization. ¢ Familiarity with HVAC, power distribution, or renewable energy systems. ¢ Knowledge of cable routing and harness design in industrial machinery. ¢ Experience with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
