Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and preparing and reviewing essential electrical drawings and documentation for control panels and related systems. You will ensure accuracy in all technical specifications and work closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee the successful design and implementation of electrical systems. Responsibilities: Understand customer and end-customer electrical system requirements. Prepare Control Panel drawings, Junction Box drawings, Starter Panel drawings, Control Philosophy documents, Alarm & Trip Lists and Logic Diagrams. Prepare and check the Bill of Materials (BOM) for electrical items required for control panels. Prepare and check earthing drawings and conduct inspection of electrical systems for quality and compliance. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and customer specifications. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure smooth project execution. Review and revise electrical drawings and systems to address any issues or improvements. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in control systems and panel design. Proficiency in Electrical AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings. Strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel for documentation and reporting. Familiarity with earthing systems and electrical inspection processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
