Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to electrical design and engineering. Your duties will include creating General Arrangement Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, and Power & Control Circuit Diagrams using AutoCAD. Additionally, you will be involved in various types of testing such as visual tests, functional tests, thickness & dimension tests, paint shade tests, circuit tests, and operation tests of panels in both on-load and no-load conditions. You will also perform High Voltage Tests, Insulation Resistance Tests, and all switchgear operation tests. One of your key responsibilities will be the inspection of Pump & RTU Panels for clients and ensuring approval from NISE Laboratory. You will also be involved in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all electrical items required for projects and creating Detailed Project Reports (DPR). Your role will require you to calculate the size of transformers, power requirements, and cable sizes. You will also need to select pumps based on project requirements and perform detailed calculations to determine the head required for the pump. In addition, you will be involved in solar power calculations needed for project operations as part of DPR preparation. It is essential that you possess a B-Tech degree from a Premier Institute and have 3 to 5 years of design experience. You should have a strong aptitude for design and calculations, as well as the ability to set and meet targets effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an ambiguous, high-growth, fast-paced environment and should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
