Job Title: Electrical & Control Design Engineer Experience: 3-6 Years Location: Chennai Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative Electrical & Control Design Engineer to support automation and digital transformation projects. The role involves electrical design, PLC programming, and simulation for smart manufacturing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams (AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN). Program and debug PLC/HMI systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.). Support new product and custom automation development. Collaborate with mechanical/software/project teams for system integration. Use tools like FlexSim/Tecnomatix for simulation and optimization. Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, NEC, ISO standards. Prepare BOMs, I/O lists, cable schedules, and design documents. Requirements: Diploma/B.E. in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field. 3-6 years in electrical/control system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN & PLC programming. Exposure to industrial automation & communication protocols. Good to Have: Knowledge of FlexSim/Tecnomatix or digital twin concepts. Experience in smart factory/Industry 4.0 solutions.
