The continuous process architecture enables CapEx reduction of up to 50% versus incumbent offerings and high project EBITDAs of 40-65% . 8 international patent grants More information can be found on our website: https://www.polycycl.com Position: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ofapV8WyAVKWKnN9e_sGKBmjcdUwss-P/view?usp=drive_link Work Experience: 5 - 15 years Proficient in both basic and detailed engineering packages with hands-on experience in reviewing and executing data sheets, single/three-line diagrams, layouts, construction schedules, and instrumentation-specific documents such as PID/PFDs, wiring diagrams, 3D models, and equipment data sheets. Expert knowledge of international codes and standards, including IEC, with working familiarity in additional standards like ISA, NEC, NEMA, and ASME to ensure design and installation compliance on both electrical and instrumentation systems. Demonstrated skills in selecting, rating, specifying, and installing HT/LT systems and switchgear (Indian Electricity Board compliant), transformers, cables, breakers, substations (PCC/PMCC), motors, variable frequency drives, DC drives, power electronics, plus the integration of SCADA systems for power and process installations. Extensive hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS architectures, including installation, operating systems, programming, communication protocols, sensor calibration, data acquisition and field instrumentation; proficient with systems for fire and gas detection, ensuring proper wiring, commissioning, and maintenance. Effective interface with regulatory bodies (e.g., State Electricity Boards) for approvals and inspections, while also partnering with electrical teams for seamless automation and instrumentation integration. Expertise in electrical and instrumentation project management, covering planning, coordination, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contractor oversight, construction management, system installation, commissioning, and project tracking to ensure financial and operational continuity. Contractor and Vendor Management: Expertise in drafting and managing work contracts using local rates and proven methodologies; skilled in vendor engagement, negotiation, and procurement to ensure both electrical and instrumentation needs are met. Safety and Compliance: A relentless commitment to safety by incorporating design and installation safety standards at every stage, and ensuring that all contractor activities remain compliant with the latest safety protocols. Advanced Design & Execution Tools: Experience with cutting-edge design technology and project execution platforms (e.g., Jira, AVEVA E3D, Intergraph SmartPlant3D, AutoCAD) to deliver accurate, efficient, and well-documented engineering solutions. Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Adept at both creating and reviewing comprehensive documentation, from design records and engineering protocols to scientific and operational reports, ensuring continuous process and quality enhancement.
