Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to define and drive architectural strategies for enterprise-grade Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a proven track record in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to translate business needs into comprehensive, efficient, and future-ready architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership :
- Define and own the architectural blueprint for Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and advisory support across multiple program teams, ensuring consistency and scalability in solution design and implementation.
Solution Design & Development
- Engage with stakeholders to capture and refine business requirements, converting them into high-level architectural designs and detailed technical specifications.
- Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and integrated Salesforce ecosystem components.
- Optimize data ingestion, transformation, segmentation, and activation workflows to ensure performance, accuracy, and compliance.
- Provide hands-on guidance on platform capabilities including Data Streams, Data Lake integration, Identity Resolution, AI/ML-driven insights, and Marketing Cloud features like Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Interaction Studio.
Integration & Data Strategy
- Design seamless integration strategies between Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and third-party applications using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Define data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance practices (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) across enterprise platforms.
- Lead efforts in identity resolution, customer 360 profiling, and large-scale data orchestration within Salesforce Data Cloud.
Technical Guidance & Governance
- Establish coding, configuration, and architectural best practices for development teams using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
- Perform architectural reviews, security assessments, and scalability evaluations.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and technical challenges across multi-cloud environments.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on Salesforce product releases, new features, and emerging best practices, evaluating their impact on current architecture.
- Recommend enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and usability of Salesforce solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience implementing Salesforce-based solutions in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of solution design and architectural experience within Salesforce platforms.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, API development, and integration frameworks.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and real-time/batch integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, data governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with AI-driven personalization, identity resolution, and customer 360 initiatives is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progressing toward CTA is an advantage
