Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Counsellor to join our growing Ed-Tech organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process for both IT and Non-IT programs, understanding their career goals, and recommending suitable courses that align with their aspirations. You will play a key role in achieving enrolment targets by providing accurate information, developing rapport with students, and maintaining the organization’s reputation for academic excellence and integrity. Key Responsibilities Counsel prospective students through phone calls, emails, and in-person/virtual meetings to understand their educational needs and career goals. Provide detailed information about various IT and Non-IT programs offered by the institute. Handle end-to-end admission processes — from initial inquiry to enrolment and post-admission support. Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/enrolment targets. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system. Stay updated with program features, eligibility criteria, and market trends to ensure effective counselling. Collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to optimize lead conversion and improve the student experience.
