Mission Rabies, a project of Worldwide Veterinary Service, is dedicated to combating dog bite transmitted rabies globally. Since its inception in 2013, the campaign has vaccinated over 2 million dogs and educated more than 5 million children on the dangers of rabies and proper behavior around dogs. Based in England and the US, Mission Rabies aims to protect animals and the people who depend on them.

Role Description

This is a full-time Education Officer role, based on-site in Mumbai. The Education Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs, conducting research, and creating curricula. Daily tasks include educating children and communities about rabies, evaluating educational materials, and collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of educational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Education and Curriculum Development
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with diverse populations, including children and communities
• Proficiency in conducting Research and analyzing data
• Effective Analytical Skills for evaluating the success of educational programs
• Passion for animal welfare and public health
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, or a related field
