The organization operates in high-risk regions, collaborating with governments, veterinary experts, and local partners. Their programs include mass dog vaccination, community education, and disease surveillance. Job Description: Conduct rabies awareness sessions in schools, colleges, and communities. Deliver interactive workshops for special groups (corporate employees, delivery drivers, construction workers, informal sector workers). Assist in operating and supporting the Education Truck during community events. Distribute IEC (Information, Education, Communication) materials such as posters, leaflets, and visual aids. Record participant data, feedback, and maintain accurate reports of all sessions. Work with community leaders and local influencers to encourage participation and awareness. Support training sessions for health workers, municipal staff, feeders, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with the vaccination and surveillance teams for joint community outreach when required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, BSW, or related field. Prior experience in community education, outreach, or awareness campaigns (NGO or public health preferred). Strong communication and public speaking skills; fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English. Ability to engage children, youth, and adults in interactive learning sessions. Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain records.
