Education Counselor

As a Student Counsellor, your primary role will involve providing one-on-one counselling to students on academic and career options. You will assess students" interests, skills, and abilities to help them make informed decisions, and develop educational plans tailored to their goals and aspirations. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting workshops on study skills, career readiness, and college applications. To excel in this role, it is essential to stay updated on educational trends and career opportunities to provide relevant information to students. Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one counselling to students on academic and career options - Assess students" interests, skills, and abilities to help them make informed decisions - Develop and implement educational plans for students based on their goals and aspirations - Organize and conduct workshops on study skills, career readiness, and college applications - Stay updated on educational trends and career opportunities to provide relevant information to students Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field - Proven experience in academic advising or counselling role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Empathy and ability to understand students" needs and concerns - Proficiency in VLOOKUP and PIVOT Table is required In addition to the above, the company is looking for candidates with skills in student counselling, career planning, educational guidance, and strong interpersonal skills.
