We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our dynamic team in Mogappair.

Job Summary

As a Study Abroad Education Counsellor, you will be the primary point of contact for students and their families, guiding them through every step of the journey to study in countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others. This role is perfect for a recent graduate with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. You will be fully trained to become an expert in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counselling: Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to understand their profile, academic background, career aspirations, and financial status.
• Guidance and Shortlisting: Provide detailed information and guidance on study destinations, universities, course options, and eligibility criteria to help students make informed decisions.
• Application Management: Assist students with the entire application process, including filling out application forms, preparing Statements of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LOR), and other required documents.
• University Liaison: Coordinate with universities and educational institutions for admissions, follow up on application statuses, and ensure timely responses.
• Visa Assistance: Guide students through the student visa application process, including documentation, financial requirements, and mock interview preparation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student interactions and applications in our CRM system.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends, policies, and updates related to international education and visa regulations for various countries.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• A strong passion for education and a student-centric approach.
• High level of patience, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel) and browsing the internet.
• A positive attitude and the willingness to learn and grow.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Skills)

• Fluency in English and Tamil.
• Personal experience of studying abroad is a major plus.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., sales, customer service, or teaching).
