Job Description: EDI + ITX Developer
Location: India (Offshore-Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune/Noida/Mumbai/Chennai)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled EDI + ITX Developer to support and enhance our logistics operations through robust electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT), and integration protocols (AS2, SFTP, APIs). This role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI maps and interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange with trading partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in EDI development, with at least 2 years in IBM ITX.
EDI Development & Support
- Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps using IBM ITX.
- Migrate legacy WTX components to ITX.
- Implement and support B2B/EDI transactions (X12, EDIFACT, IDOCs, XML, JSON, CSV).
- Configure and troubleshoot AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and API-based integrations.
- Monitor and resolve EDI transaction errors and exceptions.
Integration & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with ERP and logistics systems.
- Onboard new trading partners and manage partner setup and testing.
- Provide technical support and incident resolution for EDI-related issues.
- Document data flows, mapping logic, and integration specifications.
Process Optimization
- Automate EDI tasks and workflows using scripts and transformation logic.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
