Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

This role involves managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new carriers into the EDI platform and ServiceNow system. The Carrier Onboarding Specialist will follow established procedures, interact with customers, and ensure accurate and timely onboarding execution in a high-volume, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute onboarding activities for new carriers in accordance with documented procedures.

- Set up carrier profiles and configurations in ServiceNow and/or EDI platforms.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external carrier contacts to gather required onboarding information.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with carriers to guide them through the onboarding process.

- Track onboarding status, follow up on pending items, and escalate issues as needed.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

- Support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives related to onboarding.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

- 24 years of experience in a support, operations, or onboarding role.

- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and onboarding workflows.

- Basic understanding of EDI concepts and terminology is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.

- Nice to have skill(s)

• Experience working with external vendors or carrier networks
• Knowledge of workflow tools or automation platforms
• Transportation & Logistics domain knowledge
