Job Summary: The Economics Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Economics, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic development of the department. This role requires deep subject knowledge, pedagogical expertise, and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and analytical skills in students.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Economics. - Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments. - Conduct research in Economics and publish in reputable journals. - Guide and mentor students in academic and career development. - Evaluate and grade students’ assignments, projects, and examinations. - Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings. - Organize workshops, guest lectures, and seminars to enhance learning. - Collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives and research projects. - Stay updated with developments in the field of Economics and pedagogy. - Contribute to the overall academic and administrative activities of the institution.

Qualifications and Skills: - Master’s degree in Economics, Prior teaching experience in a college or university setting preferred. - Strong knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and related areas. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Research and analytical skills. - Ability to mentor and guide students effectively. - Proficiency with educational technology and online teaching tools.
