Echo Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our healthcare team as a <PERSON>. This role involves supporting clinical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with additional skills in sonography and aseptic techniques preferred. Qualification

• Diploma / BSc in Cardiac Technology or Echocardiography

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical assessments and diagnostic procedures under supervision
• Prepare patients for sonography examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent infection
• Operate ultrasound equipment accurately, capturing high-quality images for analysis
• Support the healthcare team with administrative tasks related to patient records and documentation
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including infection control measures
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and professional conduct

Experience

• 2+ Years experience in cardiology department
• Prior knowledge of physiology and human anatomy is essential
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging or clinical practice is required
• Experience in sonography or related imaging techniques is highly desirable
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control procedures is necessary
• Previous exposure to healthcare environments or clinical settings will be advantageous
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
