Chief of Staff to Managing Director
Location - Vapi, Gujarat
Reporting To -Managing Director
Role Purpose
The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Managing Director serves as a strategic partner, execution leader, and operational integrator for the MD’s office. The role exists to translate strategy into action, ensure cross-functional alignment, and drive disciplined execution across business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
· Partner with the MD to define, track, and execute strategic priorities and business objectives
· Drive execution through KPIs, dashboards, and structured business reviews
· Ensure closure of strategic initiatives across functions and verticals
2. Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
· Act as a single point of coordination between the MD and business/functional heads
· Drive alignment, manage dependencies, and resolve execution bottlenecks
· Facilitate leadership meetings, strategy reviews, and offsites
3. Business & Financial Governance
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
· Analyze P&L, cost structures, capex proposals, and business cases
· Provide insight-led inputs to MD for informed decision-making
4. Operating Rhythm & Performance Management
· Establish and maintain a robust operating cadence (weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews)
· Track leadership commitments, action items, and outcomes
· Enforce accountability with professionalism—not micromanagement
5. Governance, Risk & Confidentiality
· Support governance, compliance, and audit-related processes
· Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity
· Assist in preparation of board decks, investor updates, and leadership communications
6. Special Projects & Transformation Initiatives
· Lead strategic initiatives and transformation projects on behalf of the MD
· Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis
· Act as a trusted problem-solver on complex, cross-functional matters
Education & Experience
Qualifications- · MBA
Age - 42 yrs and above
Experience- 10+ years of total professional experience
· Significant experience working with MD / Promoters
· Background in strategy, finance, operations, consulting, or leadership office roles
· Exposure to multi-vertical or manufacturing-led environments preferred (Vapi context)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
