expericeneJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled XML Conversion Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in XML/XHTML schema definitions, web development, and database programming. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces while ensuring seamless XML-based conversion processes for various projects. Role & responsibilities: Strong knowledge of XML/XHTML schema definition and processing tools. Skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces using XML, HTML, XHTML, and scripting languages. Experience in programming databases and coding using XML language. Well-experienced in the development of web-based applications using various client-side technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc. Possess strong XHTML and EPUB skills; knowledgeable in how to use appropriate hooks in XHTML. Good knowledge of Epsilon, DTD, and XML Schema. Proficient in parsing tools like xmlSpy and Oxygen XML Editor. Able to work across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux) and use development tools like .NET Outstanding communication skills and a fast learner. Able to work both independently and as part of a team, based on the needs of the organization. Logical and analytical problem-solving skills. Understanding of software development lifecycles. Able to collaborate effectively with designers, back-end developers, and project management teams. Preferred candidate: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of XML, HTML AND XHTML schemas experience. Technical experience on E-Pub and XHTML. Prior experience in the e-publishing/typesetting industry is a plus.
