Job Description

Proficient in Pagination and Workflow: Strong understanding of pagination rules, both non-XML and XML workflows, and InDesign Preflight procedures. Must also be comfortable with MS Office tools. MathType Expertise: Solid working knowledge of MathType for integrating mathematical content. Creative Development: Able to interpret client briefs and expectations to create designs that align with their vision. Innovative Design Thinking: Capable of bringing fresh, creative, and "out-of-the-box" ideas into design processes. Illustration Skills: Hands-on experience with illustrations and drawing to enhance design quality. Deadline Management: Demonstrated ability to meet client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of paginated files. Adherence to Timelines: Ensure strict compliance with delivery schedules and turnaround timelines as per the Management Information System (MIS). Familiarity with InDesign Math Plugins: Experience with InDesign Math plugins such as MathType and PowerMath. Book Building Expertise: Skilled in compiling and building books by integrating multiple files using InDesign. Foreign Language Layout Design: Competency in designing layouts for foreign language content. School Book Composition: Experience in the composition and design of school books. Designing Covers, Banners, and Logos: Ability to create custom covers, banners, and logos according to client specifications. Template Creation: Responsible for creating new templates for journals as per client requirements. Template Updates: Skilled in updating existing templates for ongoing client projects. Client Communication: Responsible for carefully reading and understanding client instructions and emails before starting any project to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
