Job Description

E-commerce Supply Chain Coordinator Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and products for e-commerce operations. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory replenishment, and optimize storage to avoid stockouts and overstocking, ensuring smooth order fulfillment. E-commerce Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with popular e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and understanding of how supply chain processes tie into order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments for e-commerce orders, ensure timely delivery to customers, and track shipments to resolve any logistics issues. Supply Chain Optimization: Work closely with internal teams to align inventory levels with e-commerce demand, ensuring availability during peak sales periods and promotions. Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to reduce logistics, procurement, and inventory costs while maintaining product quality and timely deliveries. Data & Reporting: Manage supply chain data within ERP systems, generate reports on inventory, supplier performance, and logistics, and provide insights to improve operational efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, shipping documentation, and company policies; escalate supply chain risks or issues as needed. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance e-commerce supply chain efficiency, from procurement to delivery. Education & Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles, with a strong focus on e-commerce and online retail operations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-commerce inventory management software. Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, fulfillment, and procurement processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis and reporting).
