Job Description

Oversees daily interior construction activities on a hotel project, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence by coordinating with contractors, clients, and designers. Key responsibilities include managing site progress, ensuring compliance with specifications and budgets, preparing project documentation, resolving issues, and tracking financial aspects like vendor payments and contractor billing.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination:

Supervise daily site activities for interior fit-out and execution, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure interior installations, finishes, and furnishings meet approved designs, technical specifications, and hotel quality standards through regular site inspections.

Schedule & Budget Management:

Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within financial limits.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, deficiency lists, and financial records.

Issue Resolution:

Identify and help resolve project-related issues, problems, and discrepancies, including snagging and de-snagging of interior elements.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, health, safety, and hotel-specific regulations on the construction site.

Financial Administration:

Assist with verifying bills, coordinating with quantity surveyors and the finance team, and ensuring timely processing of payments.

Vendor & Procurement Liaison:

Collaborate with the procurement team to meet site-specific needs and liaise with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of a few years of experience in project management or interior fit-out, with a strong understanding of the hotel industry being beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in project management software, and a good understanding of AutoCAD and Revit can be advantageous.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for effective coordination and issue resolution.
