DSCS Field Specialist - SiteSense

As a Project Supply Chain Systems Specialist at Bechtel, you will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and implementing solutions to meet the automation requirements of Project Supply Chain Systems. You will coordinate with Product Specialists and the Procurement Systems core team to ensure seamless functionality across all modules. In addition, you will proactively monitor user operations, analyze and resolve operational or data problems, and provide guidance to users on the correct usage of applications and associated workflows. Your responsibilities will also include conducting training sessions as necessary. Your major responsibilities will include: - Reporting to and receiving operational and functional supervision from the Project Warehouse Manager / Materials Manager - Maintaining active contact with the applications user community - Coordinating technical issues with the Supply Chain Systems Manager and the Corporate Supply Chains Systems group - Maintaining contact with non-Bechtel 3rd party software/applications as required by project needs - Assisting with procurement software implementation at the project level - Troubleshooting and resolving problems related to Inventory, SiteSense, hardware, software, or network errors - Organizing and conducting training sessions for users, including the distribution of training materials and documentation - Generating and maintaining Project Procurement Metrics and Performance data To be successful in this role, you will need: - A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience OR 9-12 years of relevant work experience - Knowledge and experience in different Supply Chain disciplines such as Supplier Management, Purchasing, Contracts, Expediting, Logistics, Materials Management, and Field Procurement - Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access - Experience with SiteSense and Oracle E-Business Suite of software is preferred - Familiarity with integrations between Oracle EBS and other tools such as Aconex, Unifier, AGILE, ENPI, and M3S - Strong planning, prioritization, and organization skills - Excellent written and spoken communication skills - Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques In addition to the challenging and rewarding work environment, Bechtel offers a range of Total Rewards/Benefits to ensure the well-being and development of its employees.
