Job Description

As a Driving Safety Advisor at Castrol, a global leader in lubricants and part of the bp Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable driving safety activities. You will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for driving safety, contributing to the global HSE&C strategy, policies, and programs. Key Responsibilities: - Act as administrator and coordinator of the Castrol SMART Champion Network to ensure its effectiveness. - Support in preparing materials on driving safety topics for the Global SMART Champion with inputs from PUs. - Design global SMART initiatives such as campaigns, recognition, and promotion of good practices. - Maintain driving safety data and provide reports for PUs to support the design of driving safety programs. - Collect and analyze regional or country-specific driving safety practices to promote good practices within Castrol. - Serve as an administrator for the SMART App and support the implementation of the operating Management System (OMS) sub-element 3.7 Transportation. - Provide expertise to support PUs/Functions in meeting regulatory and legislative requirements. - Support risk assessments, coaching, driving competency development, and emergency response. - Ensure compliance with relevant OMS elements, Group Essentials, and BP GDPs. - Identify and share best practices across Castrol and provide input to deviation requests from the Castrol local operating management system. - Monitor OMS conformance, assist with compliance to Castrol LOMS, BP GDPs, and Castrol policies/procedures. Qualifications Required: - University degree (or equivalent work experience), preferably in a technical field. Formal health, safety, environmental, or sustainability qualification desirable. - Proven experience in health, safety, environmental, or sustainability management systems within an international brand marketing business environment. - Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. - Ability to think both operationally and strategically with strong communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications and digital tools. - Fluent in English with strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-working skills. - Self-motivated, proactive, and agile with an adaptable mindset.
